Tottenham Wants Moses As He Rejects Stoke City
TOTTENHAM Hotspur are lining up a surprise transfer bid for Chelsea winger Victor Moses. The Nigerian has only played 23 games for the Blues since joining from Wigan in 2012, and has had two stints away from Stamford Bridge on loan with Liverpool and Stoke.
And with first team football at Chelsea continuing to look unlikely, Moses is considering a departure from the West London club. The Mirror reported that Spurs are interested in securing his services, although Stoke, who the 24-year-old scored four times for last season, want him back at the Britannia.
Meanwhile, Chelsea’s hope of enticing Asmir Begovic to Stamford Bridge is said to have suffered another blow after Moses decided that he is open to other offers and is unsure that he wants to return to the Britannia Stadium.
Stoke wants to sign Moses permanently as a makeweight in any deal for Begovic, whom Chelsea are interested in signing as a replacement for Petr Cech. It was reported last night that Arsenal had agreed a £10.95 million fee for Cech and although there was no official confirmation.
