WiiN donates food, essential PPE to support WARIF’s vulnerable women
Women Inspiring Impact Network (WiiN), a not for profit organisation focused on enabling growing women leaders discover their best selves, focus on opportunities and achieve indelible impact and success, recently donated food and essential Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to Women At Risk International Foundation (WARIF), an NGO that promotes zero tolerance of violence against women in Nigeria.
Through this initiative, WiiN is lending its hand to support vulnerable women through the impactful efforts of WARIF by donating palliatives during this pandemic to people that need it the most.
WARIF Founder, Dr. Kemi Dasilva- Ibru, expressed appreciation to WiiN, assuring of her continued dedication to protecting vulnerable women in Nigeria, now more than ever.
Speaking with The Guardian, Folashade Ambrose-Medebem, WiiN founder, emphasized that it was critical to identify the different areas women need support and play a practical part in offering the said support. She expressed confidence that this collaboration would contribute to ensuring zero tolerance to abuse against women and improve awareness on coronavirus. Both parties also expressed appreciation to all corporate and individual donors whose invaluable support provided aid and succour to the women and enabled a successful event.
