Many times women go through their day doing an inexhaustible list of things they think as normal and they don’t even realize the value of what they do. MAGGI’s new ad does well to shine some light on this.

Whether she’s a mother, daughter, sister, sisi, mother-in-law, business owner, aunt, in-law, or professional, the average Nigerian woman wakes up early in the morning to carry out a variety of tasks that could stretch well into late night. These could range from cleaning, making provisions available for the family, carrying out her official tasks at work, negotiating in the market, and so much more.

Yet, even though women add a great deal of value to the society, work and home through these acts, their efforts are usually largely met with significant indifference. This is because the amazing things they do every day, for themselves and those close to them, are looked upon as routine and thus understated.

Women do all the things they do to show they care not because they have to and these things should be appreciated and not looked over because others see it as their responsibility.
