Adaora Mbelu (Director, Trellis Group) on the first panel alongside Folusho Gbadamosi (Director, Business Process and Technology Prime Atlantic Group), Eno Essien (CEO Rheytrak Limited) spoke clearly on purpose as not being any magical force that shows up and makes everything alright. Finding purpose is great, accepting it is greater but the greatest is your ability to fulfill that purpose, to be able to use your gifts effectively, which means you have to put in work, which includes learning skills that are beneficial to the expression of your purpose.

The second speaker Osayi Alile (CEO, ACT Foundation) started off the passion segment alongside other panelists that included Pearl Uzokwe (Director, Governance and Sustainability, Sahara Group) and Olujimi Tewe (CEO Inspiro Consulting) saying that passion is a journey that grows. They urged delegates to live life daily with passion and kindness. Passion grows in the place of service, so always find a means to serve.

The last panel on power moderated by Tomilayo Aluko (Head TQM, Wholesale Banking, Access Bank) agreed and defined power as the ability to influence possible outcomes. Each speaker, which included Owen Omogiafo (MD/CEO Transcorp Hotels Plc), Nnena Ogogo (Head, Woman Banking, FCMB) and Ichiechi Okonkwo (Deputy MD Nedcomoaks), spoke on personal branding as a key element to access networks, to influence power and they encouraged delegates to be more deliberate and intentional with their personal brand always.

The event ended with the keynote speaker Ndidi Nwuneli sharing key pointers to purpose, passion and power, which includes being deeply-rooted in faith in God. She highlighted staying on your lane, excellence, living a life of integrity and renewed mind-set. She urged everyone to be in the legacy mood- what will you leave behind, what will you be remembered for? Be fearless,” she charged everyone.
