MetroWoman Limited, a media company that celebrates the impact of female entrepreneurs, is presenting a landmark goal-setting workshop for female entrepreneurs on January 20, 2018, to enable them hone their goal-setting and execution skills as they enter a new year of limitless possibilities.

The theme of this must-attend workshop is How To Set the Right Goals And Smash Them In 2018. The highly interactive strategy session will focus on the following:

How to set the right goals for your business and execute them; how to sustain the excitement in your business after all the New Year hype is gone; how to get focused on your goals so that you don’t get distracted with what your competitors are doing; how to make time work for and not against you, and how to balance work, business and family.

Following registration, participants will get a complimentary 30 minutes coaching session to jumpstart their journey.

Metrowoman Limited produces the “Metrowoman Marketplace”, an online business showcase series designed to promote products and services developed by female entrepreneurs.

Metrowoman’s CEO, Chinenye Nnoli, said the event is the first in a series of planned empowerment events designed to empower and train female entreprenuers to function at their highest potential.

Nnoli, an entrepreneur with over 14 years of professional and entrepreneurial experience, who understands the rigours of running a successful enterprise in Nigeria, was inspired to start the Metrowoman platform several years ago in order to celebrate women who dared to start and build successful indigenous brands.

“In a country that has about 41 per cent of female entrepreneurs, which represents the highest percentage in any country, we showcase and celebrate women who are thriving despite the harsh business climate and are undeterred in their resolve to build their businesses,” she said, adding, “a lot of these women have unleashed their creativity in the marketplace and are unstoppable. They are invaluable assets to the economy. They deserve all the support they can get.”

“We are excited about this event and we have an impressive line up of panelists including Nelly Agbogu of Naijabrandchicks a social media business expert, Padebi Ojomo a business growth expert for Small and Medium Businesses and Chinwe Egwim a public finance expert and seasoned economist who bring with them incredible expertise and diversity,” she said.

The event starts from 10am-3:00pm at a venue to be communicated to interested participants.
