Jayne Augoye, founder of Fabmumng, an online parenting platform that caters for mums and help them through their parenting journey, shares some interesting places in Lagos children and the whole family can be a part of this Yuletide. “From beaches to parks, and even Father Christmas grottos, you will definitely be spoilt for choice if you will be spending Christmas in Lagos,” she assured.

Parks
Parks are no doubt one of the best educative and entertaining places to go spend quality time with your kids here in Lagos.

They are safe, serene, and all-round fun. In Lagos alone, over 30 family-friendly parks and gardens exist and each one of them provides something special and different. Some of the notable parks and gardens in Lagos include Ndubuisi Kanu Park, Oregun, Lagos; JJT Park, Jhalobia Recreation Park and Gardens, Muri Okunola Park, Ozumba Mbadiwe Road, Victoria Island, Lufasi Nature Park in Victoria Island and 50th-anniversary park in Akoka, Lagos. There are also The Kidzone, Apapa Amusement Park and Dreamworld Africana Amusement Park, that provides special focus on children.

Hi-Impact Planet Amusement Park
The park boasts of  indoor games arcade with lots of games, rides, bumper cars, ice skating, Ferris wheel, carousel, go-kart, train rides, and an indoor 4D cinema. It now has a swimming area and water slides. It is located on the outskirts of Lagos along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Ibafo.

Upbeat Centre
The recreational centre has various recreational amenities which include an indoor trampoline park, an outdoor basketball court, a five-a-side football pitch and other fun activities. It is located in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.

“Be it one or all of these places you finally get to visit, just remember the rule: it is compulsory for you to soak yourself into the moment, unwind and suck up all the fun each arena has to offer,” Augoye added.
