A parenting website, www.fabmumng.com, which is targeted at Nigerian mums has been launched in Lagos. An initiative of Fabmum Nigeria Network, the site seeks to provide a platform where mothers can interact, network, learn and share tested and trusted tips, which will simplify their roles as mothers.

Shedding more light on the inspiration behind the name and concept of the website, a spokesman of the site, Ama Koffi-Kitson, says, “the website is inspired by the challenges that most Nigerian mums face during and after marriage or childbirth which takes a toll on their appearance and outlook towards life. At fabmumng.com, we believe that it is possible for a mum to look, feel, and remain fabulous even after childbirth.   Being fabulous isn’t limited to the outward appearance of a mother but her total wellbeing and this includes her career, marriage and business.

The website is also aimed providing consultancy and promotion for small businesses owned by women or cater to women, children and family.

“We help accelerate their profits by integrating proven social media marketing strategies for a token fee.,” Koffi Kitson says.

Speaking further, she adds that the site provides information on pregnancy, parenting, family life, health, fitness, love & sex, latest happenings in the world of married Nigerian celebrities who are role models. It features well-researched articles that are relevant to family life.

A major highlight of the website is the fabmum of the month column which currently beams the spotlight on outstanding Nigerian mothers and wives who have excelled in their respective fields of endeavor. In the coming months, plans are on the way to feature the average Nigerian mum who makes the best of the little resources at her disposal to make her family happy and united.

“We’re committed to delivering high-quality information to Nigerian parents and outstanding value to sponsors who want to engage with the same audience. To be the foremost digital parenting and motherhood website of choice in Nigeria and beyond,” Koffi-Kitson adds.

As a community, the website also welcomes mums who are interested in contributing to the website through the submission of well-written unique articles about their personal experiences or just general advice that other mothers can benefit from.
