Philanthropy is an end in itself, says Therealtfame

For those who are not familiar with Idise Anthony, better known as Therealtfame, his personality might appear to be a paradox as a showbiz impresario, football agent and philanthropist rolled into one.

For those who are not familiar with Idise Anthony, better known as Therealtfame, his personality might appear to be a paradox as a showbiz impresario, football agent and philanthropist rolled into one. But for those well acquainted with the Oleh, Isoko South, Delta State-born celebrity, describing him as a “man with a heart of gold” is not wide of the mark.

A young man who has made a name as a shrewd and efficient manager of artistes and athletes has gained more prominence in the past few years as a philanthropist, with news of his empathy and concern for the well-being of others as well as donations to communities and worthy causes making the round.

A member of his community recently explaining why the young man is revered by friends and acquaintances alike, averred: “Therealtfame has made a big difference by giving back some of his wealth to the poor, abandoned and aged in our community and as a result has become an illustrious example for us the youth and other well-to-do sons of the soil.”

Related anecdotes resonate among his fans, as one frequency hears about his benevolence to people within and beyond his circles.

His altruism, which has bolstered his prominence in recent months, is not a form of showboating but an innate predisposition. This is validated by his recent outpouring on Twitter where he revealed the challenges that arose out of his munificence and his resolution not to relent on his charity. “God sees my heart. All I’ve got is pure love and Kindness. Sometimes, when I help people, they pay me back with evil! Don’t let it be my downfall! Guide and protect me and my friends and family. I also advise all to be good and kind despite all the challenges that might come your way,” he tweeted a rare lamentation.

He is also known as a focused person who doesn’t waste time chasing shadows. This aspect of his character was reflected by his decision to terminate his management of Yung6ix, a rapper tipped a few years back as the next big thing on the music but who unfortunately fizzled out, despite the huge spending on his promotion.

Therealtfame didn’t hide his reason for letting go of the artiste, in another rare tweet neither did he shy from calling Yung6ix out for living a fake life, describing him as “broke and has nothing, but living off people’s properties.”

A man from a humble beginning, who started his primary education at All Saints Primary School and attended St. Michaels College, his hunger for knowledge and skill motivated him to study at Lefke University in Northern Cyprus where he obtained a Masters in Human Resources.

Having made a success of his life, TherealTfame, considers giving back to the society a duty he will continue performing regardless of the bad flaks thrown at him.

“You don’t do good to someone because you expect any kind of gratification, rather you do good to others because it is the right thing to do, because it is a privilege and because it is satisfying,” he avowed.
