UNILAG admission yet to commence, says management

The management of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Akoka, has debunked claims that the institution has commenced screening of candidates for admission for the 2017/2018 academic year.

In a statement made available to The Guardian, the university dismissed the trending news that online registration for candidates seeking admission to UNILAG has commenced.

The statement read in part, “The message did not emanate from the University of Lagos. Members of the public are advised to ignore this message, as the institution is yet to commence the 2017/ 2018 admission exercise.

It clarified that the university website is the only authentic source of information on admissions.
