Hygeia boosts universal health coverage
To improve Universal Health Coverage (UHC) Hygeia Health Management Organisation (HMO) has introduced monthly payment package. Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Hygeia HMO, Obinna Abajue, said the mission is simply to help members access quality healthcare affordably.
He noted that the monthly payment options are the most recent in a series of innovations the company has introduced Abajue stated that Nigerians need access to healthcare services that are not only of good quality but is also affordable enough for them to actually enjoy
The CEO said with monthly payments from only N2, 950, individuals can now pay online and get reliable and effective health insurance to provide cover for a wide range of medical needs.
“Hygeia HMO offers the distinct advantage of members being able to access medical care nationwide. This means that frequent travellers, entrepreneurs and traders with family members or businesses in multiple locations across the country can be secure, knowing that they are covered wherever they are in Nigeria,” he continued.
CEO CREDEQUiTY, Tunde Leye, said they are happy to partner with Hygeia HMO stating that the majority of Nigerians do not have insurance, hence health emergencies or even non-emergency situations continue to be a huge burden.
