NASFAT youth brainstorm on ‘bridging the gap’

Bola Oyebamiji; Chairman, Osun Investment Limited during, a 4 day international conference held at NYSC Orientation Camp Ede, Osun State.

The Youth Wing of Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT) worldwide at its just concluded 12th International Youth Conference at Ede, Osun State, Nigeria resolved that for our nation’s youth to attain great heights, there is need to provide necessary information, guide and skills to bridge the obvious gaps in terms of Knowledge, Youth unemployment, Empowerment, Access to Funding among others.

NASFAT Youth Secretary, Bro. Fatai Olayemi charged the participants to be focused on the objectives of the conference and for the participants to maximize the opportunities afforded by the conference.

Alhaji Abdul-Wasiu Kola Omotunde-Young, member NASFAT Board of Trustees, he took the participants down the memory lane on the history of NASFAT stressing that NASFAT was not founded by anyone but Allah alone (SWT).

General Manager, AMCON (Asset Management Company of Nigeria), Alhaji Suleiman Majeed spoke extensively on the topic in which he said bridging the gap starts with each member. He however charged participants to be up and doing and gave the illustration that the current wave of technology started with Algorithms (0`s and 1`s) which was pioneered by Muslims.

Dr. Saheed Raji, a mental Health Physician at LAUTECH Teaching Hospital, Osogbo. As the resource person, he spoke on Drug Abuse and Management and Depression: Managing the challenging world.

Representatives of Google Nigeria led by Bro. Teslim Adeyemo educated participants on Digital Skills training. Participants were trained on how to set up Google My business; develop an online strategy to advertise their goods and services.
