THE President of Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Alhaji Remi Bello has commended the next generation network, Globacom for its love for people-oriented programmes and the affordability of its products and services. He said this has earned the company the highest number of new GSM subscribers in 2015.

Alhaji Bello, who stated this in his opening remark at the Globacom Special Day at the on going 29th Lagos International Trade Fair at Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos, said the subscriber data on the Nigerian Communications Commission website for January to May this year indicated that Glo amassed a total of 2,263,346 new activations in the first five months of 2015 to raise its base from 28,219,089 active lines at the end of December 2014 to over 30 million subscribers at the end of May, 2015.
