Rewards customers in new promo
For Nigeria to reduce the high death rate resulting from purchase of fake products, the Federal Government, stakeholders and motorists must intensify efforts against substandard products, particularly vehicle spare-parts.

This was the submission of the spokesperson for Infinity Tyres Limited, Vineet Mathur, who said motorists must watch out for cheap but inferior products from deceitful dealers, especially given the current economic slump in the country.

Mathur, who unveiled the 14th yearly edition of the firm’s Value Drive Promo,’ an end of the year event to reward customers for their loyalty in Lagos, lamented that fake products are on the increase in Nigeria.

Safety agencies in the country had said substandard spare-parts add significantly to the country’s high road crashes figure.

Mathur said vehicles parts and accessories are particularly so delicate that using wrong or poor quality types may lead to fatal accidents.

He disclosed that the company is not increasing the prices of its products, despite the rising cost of production, stressing that it is a sacrifice it is undertaking to assist its customers during the hard times.

Speaking about the promo, Mathur said the company went ahead with the reward despite the economic challenges to put a smile on the faces of its customers.

The promo, which runs throughout this month, is expected to reward customers, who buy tyre and battery from the company.

“Every customer that purchases any of our products will be offered a scratch card, through which a prize will be revealed once the card has been scratched. Prizes include cash, tyre services such as wheel balancing and wheel alignment. Other exciting prizes include Bluetooth speakers and car air fresheners. All prizes are redeemable instantly at the point of purchase,” he said.
