In her acceptance speech, Osaji said she was determined to use the support of members to grow the club to an enviable position. “I feel honoured with the privilege of being the 29th president of this club. Before today, 28 noble men and women have steered the affairs of this club and have all recorded huge successes in rendering humanitarian, philanthropic and community development services to our community. The next very important challenge is effective mentoring so as to retain members.”

She reiterated that embarking on effective projects in the community was not negotiable, insisting that it would help attract membership to the club.

“Today, we shall be donating wheel chairs to students of Modupe Cole home for physically challenged children to aid their movements and white canes to sigh impaired persons. Sometime in the year, we would be donating hospital equipment and drugs to the primary Health Care Centre, Shomolu,” Osaji informed.
