HealthPlus launches project to reduce heart diseases

To commemorate the World Heart Day 2017, HealthPlus Pharmacy has launched the Healthy Heart Check Service to lower the risk of developing heart disease in communities.

Heart disease is one of the leading causes of premature death, with an estimated 436 males and 476 females out of every 100,000 die as a result of cardiovascular diseases and diabetes in Nigeria. However, these diseases can be prevented.

To commemorate the World Heart Day 2017, HealthPlus Pharmacy has launched the Healthy Heart Check Service to lower the risk of developing heart disease in communities.

The service, which is one of its many value-adding services that offers to meet the health needs of the communities and environs in which it serve, is in partnership with RapidCheck Diagnosis & Wellness Limited, who have provided monitors for the use of the service.
