Guinness donates breathalysers to FRSC
AS part of efforts to mark this year’s ember months’ campaign, Guinness Nigeria has donated breathalyser machines to Federal Roads Safety Corps, (FRSC) to aid their routine checkup and forestall accidents on highways during the period.
However, the breathalyser machine would be used to measure the amount of alcohol in a driver’s breath during stop-and-check on the highway.
Speaking at the flag-off ceremony in Lagos, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Guinness Nigeria Plc, Peter Ndegwa, said this year’s awareness campaign would include the introduction of various novel and innovative strategies to raise public awareness on the benefits of responsible alcohol consumption.
