Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT) has paid humanitarian visit to disability centres and homes of the less privilege in Lagos state to rejoice with them during Eid-ul-Adha celebration.

The group visited Lagos State Special Correctional Home, Internally Displaced Camp and Owutu Disability center.

During the visit, the Chief Missioner of NASFAT, Imam Abdul-Azeez Morufu Onike, urged Muslims to always remember the less privilege saying feeding the poor is Prophet Muhammad tradition and it is enjoined on all Muslims. “The Prophet (SAW) always remember those that are less fortunate and he use to say none of you will have faith until he wishes for his brother what he likes for himself.”

Onike advised Nigerians to be their brothers’ keeper and they should always remember the Quran verse, which says. “We feed you only for the countenance of Allah, we wish not from you reward or gratitude”

NASFAT Welfare Secretary, Alhaji AbdurRahman Olarinde who led the group members to the centres noted that it is one of the tradition of the society to remember those who are in constricted circumstances regardless of religion and race.
According to him, “We distributed raw beef after the Eid prayer session for people who could not afford to kill ram and over 1,300 food packs, drink and water were shared at the three centres that we visit”

The inmates could not hide their joy; they thanked the group for their generosity and urge them to keep it up. They prayed for peace to continue to reign in Nigeria and NASFAT to continue to grow from strength to strength.
