Food, drinks trade show to create opportunities for local businessmen
Food and Beverage West Africa, a new international food and drinks trade exhibition in Lagos, will create new opportunities for local businesses.
Owners and people working across the food retail, distribution, catering and hospitality sectors will meet with representatives from more than 150 companies from 20 countries at the show, which opens from June 18 to 20 2019.
With free admission, more than 5,000 visitors are expected to attend the three-day event at the Landmark Centre on Victoria Island.
Nigerian businesses are well represented, accounting for a third of exhibitors. Food and beverage businesses from Benin, Morocco, South Africa and Kenya are also participating.
Additionally, there will be national pavilions for Egypt, Denmark, India, Pakistan, Turkey, Indonesia, and Sri Lanka, with exhibitors also travelling from as far away as New Zealand, China, the Philippines, the Middle East, and from across Europe.
