To ensure effective management of academic and administrative activities in Nigerian schools, ATB Techsoft Solutions Limited, an information technology and software development company, has unveiled its enterprise grade education software.

According to Chief Executive Officer of ATB Techsoft Solutions, Abiodun Atobatele, the software named “EDUWARE,” was developed after several years of planning, evaluation, design, developing and testing with a view to enhancing day-to-day activities of schools and ensuring efficient deployment of modern day technology at all levels of education.

He said the solution, which has enterprise grade, is a comprehensive web-based school management software that automates schools’ day-to-day activities and accelerates the wheel of learning at all levels of education.

He said:  “EDUWARE is our school management system application that can be used by institution of any category (primary, secondary and tertiary). It is designed to give schools the best software to handle all their administrative and academic activities with ease and accuracy, whilst saving them lots of time and efforts. EDUWARE connects each arm or department to the school, and the school to the student and/or parent, where necessary, to provide them with information sharing, easy retrieval of information for prompt decision taking and it is user-friendly.

“We are very proud of what we have achieved with this solution we are releasing to the market, which stands its own amongst any currently in the market. These solutions are a result of seven years of hard work, research and investment, by our software architects and subject matter experts. The solution addresses gaps in the education industry and enterprise resource planning for any organization, which is delivered as a cloud offering leveraging the Microsoft Azure Cloud Service.”

Noting that Nigerian schools and organisations do not have to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to procure software abroad, Atobatele urged government to enforce existing laws and regulations on local content that makes it compulsory for companies to buy software developed in Nigeria by Nigerians.

“According to the National Office for Technology Acquisition and Promotion (NOTAP) official estimate, organizations in Nigeria spend over $1billion annual to procure software,” he added.
