Firm advocates integrity in legal practice
A multi-service law firm headquartered in Lagos, Kenna Partners, has stressed the importance of integrity and hard work towards sustenance
of the legal practice.
Associate Partner to the firm, Mr. Charles Nwabulu made the call at a briefing to announce activities to mark Kenna Partners’ 25th anniversary.
He stressed that the firm was able to weather the harsh business climate due to adherence to ethics and hard work.
Nwabule said in commemoration of the celebration, the law firm has lined up number of events including a colloquium with the theme; “Footprints in Law & Society: Towards a paradigm shift”.
The event scheduled for Friday, November 23, 2018 at Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, will have Justice Amina Adamu Augie of the Supreme Court, as the keynote speaker under the chairmanship of the first female Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Chief Folake Solanke.
A panel comprising Mr. Damian Dodo (SAN) and Mr. Odein Ajumogobia (SAN) would be discussing the theme.
The principal partner of the firm, Prof. Fabian Ajogwu (SAN) said the firm has been structured to meet with the challenges of succession facing many law firms in the country.
On the celebration, he said, it is to mark its growth and achievements over the years, and to celebrate its people and culture of excellence in the practice of law.
The firm, he said would also be unveiling a book titled: “Brief Insights: a Selection of Milestone Cases,” which chronicles some notable decisions of the Nigerian Courts.
“The book is a careful selection of cases, which celebrate matters brought by litigants before the Courts, the persuasive arguments of lawyers and the decisions that have enriched legal practice and modern legal history in recent times,” he stated.
