Mark 2: 3-5 “And they come unto Him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four. And when they COULD NOT come nigh unto Him for the press, THEY UNCOVERED THE ROOF where He was; and when THEY HAD BROKEN IT UP, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay. WHEN JESUS SAW THEIR FAITH, He said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.”

FROM the above passage in Mark Chapter 2, we saw the dynamic power of faith in the face of obstacles. Four men who were working in love and faith wanted to get their friend healed but there was a HORIZONTAL OBSTACLE. Since faith cannot be stopped, these people BLEW OFF THE ROOF, creating a vertical access to the presence of JESUS. When we connect with GOD VERTICALLY, the horizontal obstacles will give way.

Somebody said, “Faith is still celebrating, shouting victory in the face of a thousand defeats.” The Scripture recalls the positive consequences of our faith in God. Hebrews 11:32-35: “And what shall I more say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and of Barak and of Samson and of Jephthae; of David also and Samuel and of the prophets: WHO THROUGH FAITH subdued kingdoms; wrought righteousness, OBTAINED PROMISES, stopped the mouths of lions.

They quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, OUT OF WEAKNESS WERE MADE STRONG, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection.” Faith does not give up; it trusts God, no matter the circumstances. 2 Corinthians 5:7: “For we WALK BY FAITH, not by sight.” 2 Corinthians 4:18: “While we look not at the things, which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things, which are seen are temporal; but the things, which are not seen are eternal.” Faith is creative, innovative and incisive. As you trust in God, fresh ideas will come and you will receive help to surmount the insurmountable.

As soon as the man who was full of palsy was dropped from the rooftop into the presence of God, the man was made whole WHEN JESUS SAW THEIR FAITH. It is time to give God a fresh evidence of your faith by relying on His Word and calling upon Him by faith. You can also plant a SEED of faith against your needs and obstacles. Faith will always find a WAY TO TRUST GOD and appropriate His promises. Do not give up. Do not doubt. Do not succumb to pressures or obstacles. Receive fresh inspiration to go on. You will surely make it to your destination.

PRAYER: Father God, I refuse to give up. I trust in You absolutely. I command every obstacle to be uprooted in JESUS’ MIGHTY NAME. I move on and I am unstoppable. I touch JESUS by faith and receive my miracles and breakthrough!
