Europe Business Assembly names Afromedia Best Enterprise Company

businessIN recognition of the company’s investment attractiveness, professional and modern management methods as well as quality of staff, the Europe Business Assembly, UK, has named Afromedia Plc, one of the three Best Enterprise Companies in Africa.

The company’s Chief Executive, Mr. Akin Olopade, was also named the Best Manager of the year 2014, in recognition of his leadership and management skills, especially in keeping the company afloat in spite of the numerous challenges it faced between 2010 and 2014.

The award was presented at a gathering of members of the Europe Business Assembly, some international business leaders from across the world and other awardees, in Cannes, France.

Presenting the award of Best Enterprise to Afromedia and Best Manager to the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Akin Olopade, and the Director General of Europe Business Assembly, Prof. John Netting said Afromedia was selected for the award because the company operates with the requisite modern management methods, has a high investment rating and attractiveness, a high staff qualification and a very good business reputation. Netting also said their criteria for selection was based on EBA members’ recommendation, information from both local and international media, chambers of commerce from across the world and some specialized business web pages.

Expressing gratitude for the recognition and awards, Afromedia Plc’s Group CEO, Olopade said the award is a reward for adhering to the values of the company of unwavering integrity and transparency, an unalloyed assurance of quality, a passion for collaboration, a profound regard for our society and a lifelong commitment to excellence. This is a confirmation that these values that have kept us for more than 100 years are still as relevant as they were when our founding managers first conceived them.

He thereafter dedicated the award to all the stakeholders of Afromedia Plc for their support and faith in the rebirth of the company.
