Encomiums for Yabatech registrar at award ceremony

The editor-in-chief of the news outfit, Mark Columbus Orgu explained that the choice of the Registrar was based on her meritorious service to the nation in the academic world and her perseverance, painstaking, and strong faith in God.

Friends and associates of the Registrar, Yaba College of Technology (Yabatech), Biekoroma Charity Amapakabo gathered recently in Lagos to celebrate the seasoned intellectual who was honoured with Afrikanwatch double Gold Merit award as one of the ‘’most distinguished administrators in Nigeria,” and for restructuring and repositioning the college registry.

The guest speaker at the event, Helen Ogboh, who spoke on the theme, ‘Selfless service to a nation’ said Amapakabo utilised all she acquired over the years for humanity, adding, “her wealth of experience and application cut across all spheres of life.’

The human resource expert further stressed that the beauty of knowledge acquired through different experiences becomes manifest and appreciated by people who have the privilege of associating with the individual or those who are directly imparted.

On his part, chairman of the occasion, Dennis Amachre, described Amapakabo as a blessing to Yabatech and humanity in general.
