She said, “Children are the foundation of every society, if we dont take good care of them, we are deceiving ourselves. Whatever we sow in their lives the society will reap in the future. All that Bunmi wanted was to help children and we are standing firm on that.”
Chairman, board of directors of the foundation, Babatunde Akinleye, remarked that the cardinal aim of the foundation was to improve the lives of children from disadvantaged backgrounds using educational platforms.
“The foundation will intervene in schools through advocacy for improvement of academic standards, enhancement of the learning environment and promotion of a sense of universal civic responsibility in the children,” he said.
