Coventry University is continuing to provide the best environment for its students with another round of awards success.

The university will host another popular series of open days in November to attract new students from across Nigeria.

Students interested in applying for courses in 2019 are invited to attend a series of events and speak to representatives from the university, finding out more about study options and available courses as well as scholarships and visa applications.

Students will also have the opportunity to ask any questions they might have about life in the UK.

MSc Pharmacology and Drug Discovery student Chiemela Odoemelam (pictured) found the open days helpful:

“I attended two of the open days in Nigeria. The one in the summer and Autumn. The open day was really helpful as I interacted with Ada and picked her brain over a range of issues including fees payment and visa application procedure. I’d say we established a relationship as I kept emailing her and she guided me through every step of the process.

Coventry University helps to ensure students are highly employable upon graduation and strives to ensure that a great percentage of the students are employed upon graduation through its faculty employability units.”

This year, Coventry was named as the UK’s University of the Year for Student Experience in the Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2019. Described as “innovative” and “bold”, the university also ranked in the top 50 in the prestigious league table thanks to its vision for students and the support services available to them.

The university hopes that by extending its offering and including January and May start dates for undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses, it will be able to help even more people gain an education and thrive in the global world of work.

The latest ranking success for Coventry comes after it retained its title of UK’s top modern university for the seventh consecutive year in the Guardian University Guide 2019, and secured a gold rating in the UK government’s Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF).
