China thrives in historical relics, international trade

The Chinese government cherishes its historical background and, therefore has, created a lot of sight seeing facilities. Some of them such as the ‘Great Wall’, ‘Temple of Heaven’, ‘Summer Palace’ ‘Forbidden City’,’ Kungfu Show’, in the capital, Beijing, daily attract swarms of tourists from all over China and different parts of the world, a subtle way to generate revenue with a view to contributing to the nation’s economy.

There is also the ‘Shanghai Museum’ while the ‘tallest building in China’ as well as ‘Canton Fair’, a world class trade centre existing since 1957s in Guangzhou province, all play their roles as important landmarks in the nation.

Beijing with 3,000 years of historical vicissitudes and more than 850 years of royal families remnants, is a unique well-known historic and cultural city and a priceless treasure of China.

Beijing has been the political and cultural centre of China in the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. Hailing-Wanyan Liang found Beijing, which was known then as Zhongdu in the Jin Dynasty.

Hundreds of years of historical sediments and changes of dynasties have gathered the essence of Chinese culture, accumulated in Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties together.

Beijing is a sublime city and an imperial capital of thousands of years.Through the painstaking efforts of dozens of emperors in the Jin, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, Beijing has become a royal museum worthy of its reputation. Beijing is a magnificent city with red walls, gate towers, Badaling (mountain cap), Juyongguan pass, ancient capitals over thousands of years and the Great Wall.

Shanghai and Guangzhou are also towns with sites notable for tourists attraction.Different historical sites have become tourist attractions such as the Great Wall located in the suburb of Beijing. As an outpost of the Juyongguan Pass, an impregnable pass in the world, it is strategic and capable of being easily defended. It magnificent and honoured as one of the “nine Fortresses in the world”. It is the most representative and intact section in the existing Great Wall of the Ming Dynasty which was listed world cultural heritage in 1988.

Summer Palace is the largest and most complete preserved ancient royal garden in China and a masterpiece incorporating all the great achievements of the arts of Chinese landscape architectures. It is full of the magnificence and splendor of Chinese royal gardens as well as the interests of nature. It is listed as “Four Famous Gardens” in China together with the “Humble Administrator’s Garden” and “Lingering Garden”.

The “Hall of Supreme Harmony”, the “Temple of Heaven,” built in the 18th year of Emperor Yongle in the Ming Dynasty attracts tourists from all over China and the world.

“Forbidden City”, burnt down twice in 1420 and 1625 and rebuilt about 240 years ago, still maintains its 85% status in originality and remains a historical site that attracts tourists from all over China and the world daily.

Shanghai Museum with rich history of China, the tallest building in Guangzhou with 112 floors, fast lift, Kungfu Show in Beijing being staged with display of modern technology, have all become daily tourist sites generating huge revenue.

Canton Fair, one of China’s economic hubs, remains one of the World’s famous trade centres. It takes place twice a year with different countries participating.
