The 20th of the CED Forum Award of Excellence which took place last weekend at the Sheraton hotels, Ikeja is a reflection of celebrating corporate excellence and success.

The 20th of the CED Forum Award of Excellence which took place last weekend at the Sheraton hotels, Ikeja is a reflection of celebrating corporate excellence and success.

Reflecting on the significance of the CED Forum Award of Excellence, the Managing Director/CEO, Century 21 System Communication, Mr. Kenneth Olusola Stephenson, applauded the team for taking the initiative to organize and champion the development awards for twenty years running. He said “Our winners today, especially as we celebrate 20th edition of the platform, embody this mindset. They are professionals and organizations that put the nation and the customer at the center of every operation in continuous pursuit of operational excellence so as to be best-in-class globally. “Also of note is that most of the winners have distinguished themselves in the sectors where many companies are grappling with the challenges of our tight labour market and the attendant recession”.

The event which was chaired by Engr. Otis Anyaeji FNSE, the President Nigerian society of Engineers saw corporate titans and organizations clinching awards including Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, the Hon. Minister of science and Technology; Messrs Iro vester Engineering Limited, Alfa Centuari Pumps Limited. Automated geotechnics Limited, Bow dynamics systems Limited, Global Sterling Products Limited, Natony Limited and Tegas Engineering Company Limited. Others are Mrs. Funmi Akingbagbohun, Surv. Akinloye O. Oyegbola, Messrs Adewale Ikotun, ESV Sam Nwosu, Dele Olaiya and Associates, SPA Dredging Company Limited, Engr. Mayne David West and Skyes Energiprojekt Limited.

The highlight of the ceremony was a lecture delivered by Engr. Dr. Isa Emoabino on the theme: “Concrete Road in Nigeria: Durability, Acceptability and the Economic Benefit to A Developing Nation”
