ONE-TIME war correspondent and former NTA Chief Cameraman, Pa Ganiyu Davies has advised the Federal Government to handle the lingering problem of Fulani herdsmen and South West farmers with caution to avoid an inter-tribal clash.

The octogenarian, who is the Chief Executive Officer of Lagos Ogun Mineral and Farm Resources Limited also called on the government to establish nationwide, without delay, animal ranches, where herdsmen would feed their cattle instead of straying into farms to destroy crops.

Pa Davies made this call during a media parley in his office at Ikeja, urging the Federal Government to consider this with all seriousness to avoid further damage by the herdsmen, which might trigger another crisis between them and farmers.
