2017 Ford Mustang raises the bar with 5.0-litre supercharged

On Tuesday next week, Ford will begin the launch of its Mustang in India with a price, which start from $24,645.

Powered with 5.0-litre supercharged V8 mill, the iconic machine will be producing 395bhp and 515Nm with power going to the rear wheels via a six-speed dual clutch AT.

Ford’s Mustang completed its 50th birthday in 2014 making it one of the longest running cars to be in production continuously.

Though the car had always been an exclusive domain of LHD markets, models of the vehicle is being display at its Nigerian authorised showroom in Lagos.

In 2012 the Mustang became a part of the ‘One Ford’ global programme prompting Ford to announce that it would for the first time be produced in RHD also to expand its reach.

This generation of the sports car, has the stance from the fastback of the 1970s, face from the modern Ford design philosophy and of course the prancing mustang, which has made the brand so famous.
