RICHARDSON Oil and Gas Limited has become ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System certified.

This is as a result of the company’s commitment to providing quality services, customer satisfaction and further establishes Richardson as a preferred channel for Oil and Gas support services and solutions.

The company said in a statement that the certification is also a significant milestone in the company’s continuous effort to leverage on its global strategic alliances, dedicated people and outstanding customer service.

It stated: “Following the presentation of ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems Certificate to the company, by Bureau Veritas Certification Holding SAS, Richardson is now part of an exclusive group of ISO certified companies in Nigeria.

“ISO 9001 is a family of standards for quality management systems and is designed to help organisations ensure that they meet customers’ requirements, statutory and regulatory requirements.

Presenting the certificate, System Certification Manager, Bureau Veritas, Adenike Akinbote, stated that achieving ISO 9001:2008 system certification is a demonstration of conformity of management systems to internationally accepted standard requirements and the ability of Richardson to get it right the first time, satisfy customers’ current needs and also be ready for future challenges.

Chief Executive Officer of Richardson Oil and Gas Limited, Akin Osuntoki said the upgrade is a genuine proof of the company’s commitment to its core value of excellence and focus on local capacity development which in the long run generates a multiplier effect thereby boosting local content development in Nigeria.
