According to Onyetenu, Nigeria’s oil and gas industry has developed tremendously over the last decades, making it interesting and engaging with the overall participation of many indigenous companies.

Onyetenu said tubular running services in Nigeria have not received adequate attention over time to be able to attain the required technological advancement that measure up with other advanced countries.

He posited that this situation which poses some level of challenge, has made the firm to take up the responsibility to bring the needed change in the industry.

He emphasised that in all stages of tubular handling and installation, the firm has developed modernised processes to forestall failure and reduce costs through world-first technologies and highly qualified manpower to deliver precision in all conventional or digitised operations.

This development, he said, could not have been effective if not for the federal government’s local content initiatives and regulations.

“Today, one has to possess some skill sets, qualities that can sustain productivity and business relations, I am a seasoned entrepreneur and one who can be considered a veteran in the oil and gas business”, he added.

Over the years I have demonstrated excellence in leadership, commitment, tenacity, diligence and high level of professionalism in the areas of business development, client account management, contracting, tender management, financing, procurement, agency management, sales, operations, personnel recruitment, risk analysis & project financing and most importantly, I have enjoyed the support and commitment of core investors due to my high integrity”, he declared .

He also disclosed that Volant, a Canadian company that designs and manufactures the widely used CRTi® & CRTe® casing running tools in the industry is vibrantly being represented by Mafuta oil and Gas limited in the country, as the company is now able to address all enquiries in Nigeria concerning Volant CRTi.
