Raising the alarm in a statement issued in Abuja yesterday, the commission noted with dismay a front page advertorial by a ‘faceless group’ in some national newspapers on Wednesday, March 25, 2015, alleging a plot by the Chairman of the commission, Prof. Attahiru Jega, to rig the planned general elections.

I do hope we will get things more right. A lot of rumours are flying around, I think we have gone away from the rumour of interim government because that is not in our Constitution.
