Ukraine, Abuja Chamber Of Commerce partner on trade
The Ukrainian Embassy in Nigeria has entered into a partnership with the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) with a view to boosting trade.
President of the ACCI, Prince Adetokunbo Kayode, who presided over the meeting where the deal was sealed, stressed that the Chamber is interested in mobilising its members, stakeholders, concerned authorities and resources for the success of the forthcoming trade mission by Ukrainian investors and business communities.
Kayode also felicitated with India on its 70th independent anniversary and 60 years of economic relations with Nigeria.
He said bilateral ties between the two nations, dating as far back as 1958, have grown from strength to strength.
He said the recent agreement entered into by Nigeria and the Associated Chambers of Commerce of India (ASSOCHAM) in agriculture and allied areas would soon kick-off, as all machineries have been put in place to ensure effective implementation.
He called for further cooperation with Nigeria in terms of equipment and finance leasing to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
