NSE delists Skye Bank, Fortis MicroFinance
To end investors speculations, the NSE, yesterday, finally delisted the shares Skye Bank Plc, and Fortis MicroFinance Bank from its daily official list.
According to a statement by the Exchange, the delisting of the banks was approved by the National Council of the Exchange on Thursday, May 30, in line with its regulatory delisting process as a result of the revocation of their operating licences by their primary regulator, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
“Dealing members are hereby notified that in pursuant to clause 15 of the general undertaking, appendix III of the rule book of NSE, 2015 (Issuers Rules), the under listed companies were delisted from the daily official list of the Exchange on Wednesday, August 21, 2019,” the statement read.
