More customers emerge in Fidelity Bank’s mortgage promo

AN Abuja based-customer of Fidelity Bank Plc emerged the star prize winner of N2 million at the end of the fourth round of the promo.

The promo, according to the bank, was part of efforts towards rewarding customers and encouraging savings culture among Nigerians though its on-going ‘Save-4-Shelter’ promo,

In a draw held in Lagos, 200 qualified customers spread across the six operational regions of the bank participated, where Mengot Sarah of its Abuja branch emerged.

Other cash prize winners in the promo were Ahanonu Collins Ekene, who won N1 million; while Abdulraheem Raimat, Giwa Florence Olabisi, Oamen Christy, Samuel Daniel Ikwuje won N500,000 each and others won consolation prizes.

The Executive Director, Shared Services, Fidelity Bank, Mrs. Chijioke Ugochukwu, said the promo was a special initiative of the bank to build strong savings culture among customers.

“Save-4-shelter promo is an initiative of Fidelity bank. It is a special effort of the bank, to continue to build strong saving culture among our customers and among the generality of Nigerians as a whole. It’s a little way of supporting the peoples’ aspirations either to rent their own property or own their own home,” she said.

Also, the Chairman of the promo, Osaro Odeghe, said the promo was to show that there is need to reward customers for choosing to do business with the bank.

“The promo seeks to reward our customers. As a bank, we know the challenges in the economy and for somebody to choose you as one of the banks to do business with, it is something good and we need to reward such customers,” he added.
