Verdant Zeal partners Kaduna government, PAN on innovative enterprises

To promote development of innovative enterprises and economic growth in the country, Verdant Zeal Group, in partnership with Kaduna State government and PAN Nigeria, has concluded plans to hold its first innovention round table for SMEs and Start ups.

To promote development of innovative enterprises and economic growth in the country, Verdant Zeal Group, in partnership with Kaduna State government and PAN Nigeria, has concluded plans to hold its first innovention round table for SMEs and Start ups.

Themed, “How innovation drives entrepreneurship: The case for SMEs and Start-Ups, the firm explained that the Innovention Round table is propelled by the success achieved with the yearly innovention series which has held since 2012 but with a renewed vision to impact key economic hubs across Nigeria.

Scheduled to hold in Kaduna State, the forum according to a statement, will create a free platform for all employers of labour, e-commerce solopreneurs and SMEs to appreciate the place of innovation in business growth.

Speaking on the new initiative, The Executive Vice Chairman, Verdant Zeal Group and event convener, Dr. Tunji Olugbodi noted that for six years, his firm has convened the innovention Series, a Corporate Social Responsibility initiative instituted in 2012 to examine the development of Africa, discuss the Nigerian project as well as pinpoint opportunities for development and growth within the continent.

He explained that patrons from both the public and private sectors have found it a strong route to engage in stimulating but pragmatic conversations and discourse that challenge the status quo.

The Innovention Series he added, “has now expanded its offerings for a richer and more diverse audience who want to practically evaluate issues experienced by key economic hub in Nigeria and come up with lasting workable solutions”.

Scheduled to hold on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at The Umar Musa Yar’Adua Hall, Kaduna, the event which will be chaired by the Chairman, Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company, Yusuf Hamisu Abubakar will have the Executive State Governor, Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai as Special Guest and the Keynote address delivered by the Managing Director, PAN Nigeria, Ibrahim Boyi.

The forum is expected to be moderated by the General Manager, Supreme 96.1FM, Kaduna, Isaac Bare, other panel discussants at the event will be, Chief Executive Officer, Nigeria Economic Summit Group (NESG), Laoye Jaiyeola; Founder/CEO, Zamani Foundation, Philomena Zamani-Henry and Kabir Farida Mohammed, Chief Executive Officer, Online Training and Awareness Campaign (OTRAC).
