Operators seek synergy between equipment manufacturers, raw materials producers
Organisers of Nigeria Manufacturing & Equipment Expo have called for synergy between equipment manufacturers, raw materials producers, manufacturers and processors as part of efforts to aid industrial growth.
Event Manager, Nigeria Manufacturing & Equipment Expo, Joseph Oru, explained that with deepened integration between equipment manufacturing, raw material producers and manufacturers, the nation will be able to fast track her quest in developing the manufacturing industry.
Oru added that while this year’s edition of the expo was successful with over 100 exhibitors and 3000 visitors, there are expectations that next year’s expo will be bigger especially with the collocation of Multimodal West Africa, a logistics and supply chain solutions event.
Immediate past president of the Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce, Chief Olabintan Famutimi, during the yearly meeting of the chamber also stated that the nation’s manufacturing industry is set to experience growth.
Olabintan stated that despite the challenges prevalent in the manufacturing sector, the industry has the capacity to surmount them with the potentials to boost productivity within the industry and further contribute to the nation’s GDP.
He further revealed that the Nigeria Manufacturing and Equipment Expo, which is an international end of line packaging and processing exhibition for the agro food, beverage, textiles, pharmaceuticals, industrial and non -food manufacturing industry; organised by Clarion Events West Africa is a credible platform that showcases the potentials inherent in the manufacturing industry.
