Mutual Benefits Assurance Plc has reiterated its commitment to enhance the nation’s insurance industry through youth empowerment, as part its corporate social responsibility services to the society.

The company Chairman, Dr. Akin Ogunbiyi, revealed this at the maiden edition of the Mutual Benefits National Badminton Championship tournament at the Police College in Lagos.

Ogunbiyi, who underscored the relevance of insurance to different sectors of the economy, said: “Youth empowerment through the development of sports has been a key focus of Mutual Benefits’ CSR activities. Our resolve is driven by the need to creatively add value, and the understanding that gifted youths need platforms such as this to develop, receive mentorship, and showcase their talents.”

He also disclosed that the complex at the Police College, where the tournament took place was donated by Mutual Benefit three years ago.
