Fidelity Bank rewards customers

FIDELITY Bank Plc has given out cash rewards to its Sweeta and Fidelity Personal Savings Scheme (FPSS) account holders, who emerged winners in its loyalty scheme, as part of the efforts to boost savings culture in the country.

FIDELITY Bank Plc has given out cash rewards to its Sweeta and Fidelity Personal Savings Scheme (FPSS) account holders, who emerged winners in its loyalty scheme, as part of the efforts to boost savings culture in the country.

The Executive Director, Fidelity Bank, Mrs. Chijioke Ugochuwku said that what the financial institution is doing is to continue to encourage savings culture, as well as promote education.

According to her, it is our duty to make sure that people continue to save, even as we continue to perform our financial intermediation role.

She noted that, to qualify for the monthly draw, an individual is required to have Fidelity FPSS account or Sweeta account. The total value to be given out is ₦N700 million, while N51 million was given out to the lucky customers of the bank at the draw, which was simultaneously held in other locations outside Lagos.

The bank chief said that the initiative is the biggest loyalty scheme organised since the inception of the bank in terms of monetary value.

But the Head, Saving Group, Fidelity Bank, Mrs. Janet Nnabuko, said the only reason our existence make sense is that the customers are coming through the door every day and we want to use this medium to put it on record that we don’t take it for granted at all. “We are rewarding the Sweeta account holders.

Sweeta account is designed for children, while the Fidelity Personal Savings Scheme (FPSS) is for adult and the working class.

As a bank, we shall continue to appreciate and reward our loyal customers. Recently, we concluded a savings promo and come up with the loyalty scheme and we will continue to appreciate and reward our customers,” she stated.

Nnabuko also noted that the scheme is more than a promo but a reward system, as it is also called school fees support scheme whereby ₦150,000 has been given out to each of the beneficiaries that runs Sweeta account.

Also, for the FPSS, we have given out ₦500,000 for each beneficiary at least to support them with whatever business they are doing and in the next 30 days, we shall organise similar event to avail more cash reward to the third batch of beneficiaries. Some of the winners that won ₦500,000 were Okonwo Samuel Emeka, Odigbo Clementina Ngozi, Nweke Solomon Ifeanyi, Ngozi Nora Udeh.
