Solomon Emmanuel Bassey, popularly known as DjYoungMoney and No.1DjPresident, is a multi-talented super kid DJ from Akwa Ibom State.
DjYoungMoney started his journey into the entertainment world, when he was just four years old. He is now 12 years. He attributed his motivation to God and is very happy doing what he does.

In 2018, Solomon bagged the Youngest Entertainer Award of the year.On the challenges he has encountered on the business, he said these are normal, as there is always pain behind fame. So, he has been enduring such things as sometimes having to close late, sleeping less, and attending shows till dawn.

DjYoungMoney said he looks up to God in anything he does, as his inspiration comes from Him. But after God, his role models are his father, who encourages and counsels him, and then DJ Jimmy Jatt.

DjYoungMoney was the official DJ at the recent birthday party of former Governor of Lagos State and the National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The incumbent Lagos State governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, recently referred to Solomon as the future of African entertainment. His song, Mama Africa, was nominated for the last episode of Afrima Awards, and has been played at top shows and for top celebrities.

In the course of his career, Solomon has performed with such Nigerian superstars as Davido, Wizkid, Sunday Are, Olamide, Lyta, Phyno, DJ Spinall and DJ Jimmy Jatt, among others. His vision is to become one of the best DJs in the world, and to open a music school, where people can be taught good music. But the school won’t be just about music, but about entertainment generally.

He also intends opening an orphanage for the less privileged in the society. His advice goes first to parents, whom he said should always be ready to support their children’s dreams. He said: “If they discover any talent in their children, parents should go all out to encourage and support them with all that is required, including prayers. This is because children are the future leaders.

“To my mates out there, I would advise them to be loyal, humble and serious in all they do, including their studies and every other thing. They should also be obedient to their parents.”
