“I have always wanted to be on the runway and on the cover of decent magazines. The opportunity came in 2016, when the organisers of Little Miss Damsel Nigeria came to my former school in search of interested pupils,” she recollected.

Ever since, there has been no going back, as she has featured in some modelling programmes.

At such young age, what are the challenges she has encountered in the course of her modelling activities?
“The only challenge I’m having is not being able to work or practise, when I return to school after holidays. As a boarding student, I’m limited to just studying during school period,” she explained.

So, how does she tackle the challenge?
She replied that she has been able to juggle her school works with her modeling activities successfully.

“What I do is to practise during my spare time in school. When I’m go home for midterm break or any other holiday, I devote 95 per cent of my time to my modelling career. During these times, I try to catch up with the things I missed while in school,” she said. “And being a boarding student, I simply concentrate on my studies, when I’m in school. It is just a matter of doing the right thing at the right time.”

On her role models in the industry, she said: “Kendal Jenner and my mother, who has been very supportive and encouraging. My mother has also been my inspiration. She has always been there.”In the course of modeling and engaging in similar activities, Daniella has been to many places, including Lagos, Abuja and Calabar. “I have participated in two beauty pageants and many runway shows,” she said.

What is her advice to other kids?
“They should never allow anyone to kill their dreams. It is good to dream big and try to unlock your talents. It is also important to believe in God,” she said.
