Dana Air has bagged the prestigious Leadership Brand of the Year 2016 award, held recently at the International Conference Centre in Abuja.

Meanwhile, its counterpart, Air Peace, has also the City People’s Airline of the Year Award for its outstanding performance despite the huge challenges faced by carriers in the country last year.

The Chairman, Leadership Group, Sam Nda-Isaiah, said their choices were not influenced in anyway, while nominations go through rigorous and painstaking debates.

He said: “Sometimes we fall into a dilemma and end up choosing more than one for a category but this is good, as it shows that these individuals and organisations are doing really well.”

Communications and Media Manager of Dana Air, Kingsley Ezenwa, appreciated the Leadership Group, saying it was in recognition of their effort at offering the best of services to its teeming guests.

Ezenwa said: “We are unrelenting in our determination to ensure that our on-time performance remains unrivaled, and continue to offer our customers the best of in-flight and customer service. This is a clear nod for us to do more and we won’t disappoint.”

Receiving the award during the 20th edition of City People Awards for Excellence, Air Peace said it was further raising the quality of its services to guarantee air travellers the best flight experience in the country and beyond.
