CIS partners BINEL to boost institute’s revenue

THE Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on frontier partnership with Business In Nigeria Events Limited (BINEL), as part of strategic moves to boost its revenue base and make the institute more competitive.

  Under the frontier partnership, BINEL would assist the institute to co-ordinate its high profile functions and ensure profitability. 

  The events, which include the yearly National Stockbrokers’ Conference and National Workshop require huge capital outlay in view of the professional and national relevance.

  The institute’s major events thrive on attendance by top government functionaries and personalities from the Organised Private Sector, including top class professionals. 

  By the new business partnership, BINEL would henceforth package, and market the high profile functions of the CIS in order to generate revenue, sponsorship and ensure maximum attendance quality audience subject to the agreement between the two organisations.

  Commenting on the MOU, the President and Chairman of Council of the institute, Albert Okumagba, described it as historic. 

  According to him, the institute has a strong strategic plan that requires huge capital to execute, hence the partnership agreement would advance the realisation of the vision, mission and core values of the institute. Okumagba explained that the broad objective of frontier agreement is to raise the bar for the institute’s revenue base for enhanced execution of its laudable programmes.

 BINEL’s Managing Director, Christian Udechukwu, explained that the company would deploy all its platforms to enable the CIS realise its revenue mobilisation objective. Udechukwu expressed optimism that his company is blessed with human capital that can drive the new relationship with the institute. 

  BINEL is a frontline professional consulting firm renowned for assisting clients to organise high profile events that can generate income in the final analysis. The firm would work very closely with the Programme Committee of the CIS to have relevant information needed for organizing any event.

  The institute had earlier signed MoU with many notable organisations to mobilise 150,000 young graduates to enroll for its Professional Diploma in Securities and Investment Examination.  

  Under the MOU, the companies would deploy their marketing strategy to attract qualified young Nigerians seeking a career in the Capital and Financial Market to benefit from this initiative.

  The Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers serves as a platform for the training and certification of the beneficiaries as a strategy to grow the membership base.

  Enlightenment of the potential candidates for the Diploma Programme is at the centre of the institute’s marketing drive. 

  Various channels including free public lectures at schools, churches, mosques and club hosues are being deployed to mobilise the young ones. 

  Plan is also in the offing to set a minimum standard for the front-desk officers in the financial market whereby possession of the Diploma Certificate would be a prerequisite.
