Mamalette Live 2015 was held at Co-Creation Hub, Yaba, Lagos, and it brought together expectant mums, new mums and experienced mums under a roof to celebrate motherhood.

Explaining why Pampers chose to support Mamalette, Ayotomiwa Ajewole, Brand Communications Manager, Procter & Gamble, said that babies are the heart of everything Pampers does; which aligns with the vision and objectives of Mamalette.

Anike Lawal, Founder-Mamalette, on her part chronicled how her journey into Mamalette began. “The first time I became pregnant, I started Googling and looking online for Nigerian moms and I didn’t find any neither did I find a community that was robust to cater for my queries. I instantly saw a gap so decided to fill it”.

She also noted that prior to this platform; expectant mums and new mums were usually at a loss on where to get information on pregnancy, birth stories and the likes. This vacuum gave rise to the Mamalette mothers-online community forum, which provides all the information a new mum would probably need especially within the same cultural setting.

For more than 50 years, Pampers has been helping to improve life for babies, toddlers, and the parents who care for them through a complete line of diapers, training pants, and wipes designed for every stage of baby’s development.
