IPMAN picks BoT member to stabilise association in Edo, Delta states

To stabilise the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), the leadership of the Chinedu Okoronkwo led faction of the association, said it has appointed Ogbeide Konkon, as a member of the association’s Board of Trustee (BoT) saying they believed he would use his wealth of experience to provide leadership for the Midwest Zone of the association and contribute to its wellbeing.

In the letter dated, 28th July 2016, signed by Okoronkwo and the National secretary of IPMAN, Alhaji Danladi Pasali, which was made available to The Guardian, IPMAN said the decision to make Ogbeide a member of the BoT of the association was taken at a meeting of the association in Abuja on July 12th.

“Your choice for membership of this unique body in our association is informed by your impeccable pedigree and antecedents and it is hoped that you will bring your wealth of experience to bear in the discharge of your constitutional duties”

RecalL that few a weeks ago, the caretaker committee of the zone was dissolved. A letter dated July 1, 2016, and addressed to the Warri Branch said: “The NEC of IPMAN has dissolved the Zonal Caretaker Committee of Mid-Western Zone led by Chief SN Ogbewe with immediate effect in accordance with the amended IPMAN Constitution 2009. Having outlived its usefulness, they are adviced to handover all IPMAN properties in their possession to the IPMAN National Headquarters. All relevant authorities should please accordingly.”
