Air France has launched a new digital travel log, designed as a tool to assist its customers and enhance their comfort. The scheme is also part of the company’s move to raise its strategy and enhance the editorial content of its booking website.

For each of the initial 89 destinations on offer, the website lists a large selection of restaurants, charming hotels, picturesque and landmarks sites.

According to Air France, the scheme is complemented by a travel log, allowing users to organize and download selected content, as well as the possibility of booking their plane ticket directly from the travel by Air France website.

To mark the launch of Travel by Air France, the airline is organizing a “Perspectives” photo contest from 1st March to 15 March 2016.

The message of the contest is, “Celebrate your city, whether it’s your hometown or the city of your dreams, and share your authentic and daring vision of your city with everyone else”.

The airline said that web users are invited to vote for the public prize online where which 100 people would be rewarded. The winning photos will be presented at an exhibition on 22 March 2016 in Paris, and could subsequently be exhibited in the company’s Business class lounges at Paris-Charles de Gaulle. A jury, made up of renowned amateurs of lifestyle, photography, music and fine dining, will award the Grand Jury prize.
