Air France KLM celebrates Nigerian customers
Air France KLM has disclosed its method of rewarding its passengers through the initiative called “Random acts of surprises”, which involved randomly giving out surprise gifts to customers, with the aim of celebrating old and new customers.
The gifts given out included free upgrades, free extra bags, free seat plus upgrades, free preferred seats upgrades among others.
It said that from the 16th of November 2015 to the 20th of November 2015, Air France KLM will further celebrate its customers through a customer inclined campaign tagged “Smile Week”. During this super ‘Smile Week’, ‘Random acts of Surprises’ will be extended to several customers daily, the airline noted.
Therefore, customers, who visit the Air France KLM City Ticketing Offices in Lagos and Abuja from the 16th to the 20th of November for their ticket transactions, stand the chance of winning wonderful surprise gifts daily. To qualify, the customer must be one of the passengers travelling, it explained.
Meanwhile, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has taken delivery of its first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. KLM acquired the airplane through leasing company AerCap. The 787-9 complements and extends the 787 family.
With the fuselage stretched by 6 meters (20 feet) over the B787-8, the B787-9 can fly up to 20 per cent more passengers and 23 per cent more cargo.
In addition to this delivery, the Air France-KLM Group has 19 B787-9s and six B787-10s on order and will lease 12 B787s through AerCap. KLM will operate its first B787-9 on the Amsterdam – Abu Dhabi – Bahrain service.
