THE President of Abuja Chamber of Commerce Tony Ejinkeonye and the Vice President , Media Jude Igwe have arrived The Peoples Republic of China with one principal object in mind; to seek economic and commercial partnership with the various Chambers of Commerce in many important commercial districts and provinces in China.

The essence of the whole thing is to get both sides to act as facilitators of business cooperation and interactions between members of the chambers in particular and both countries in general.

In the first of the series of meetings scheduled for this trade mission, a meeting was held between the officials of Guizhuo Chamber of Commerce, Foshan Branch, with its President Mr. Wei Hai (who also doubles as the the Deputy President, Guangdong Province branch) who led other official including the Vice President Mr. Wu Wenlong, Mr. Huang Hua and Mr. William Zhang among others on their side while Abuja Chamber was represented by The President Mr Tony Ejinkeonye and its Vice President Media Mr. Jude Igwe.

At the bilateral meeting which lasted several hours, various issues affecting trade and commerce between business men and in particular member s of the chamber movement in both countries were discussed.

The problem areas were identified and fully analyzed and solutions suggested . Of particular interest was the idea of using the chambers to inform members who have interest in doing businesses in either country of the rules and regulations that govern various kinds of transactions in both countries to avoid such persons or organizations losing money or getting into trouble with the laws as a result of ignorance.

Abuja Chamber also used the opportunity to highlight the numerous areas that are open for highly profitable investments in the Nigerian economy and the very relaxed processes and incentives the government has put in place to encourage such investors.
