Executive Director, State Agency for Mass Literacy, Dr Douglas Nwaorji, during an advocacy visit to the Ohambele in Ukwa West Local Government Area (LGA) where the institution is sited, urged the council chairman and other stakeholders to ensure effective operation and sustenance of the centre.
He also stressed the importance of using the donated equipment to achieve their purpose saying: “It is of the greatest interest that the state agency and the LG council synergise to impact skill acquisition and training to indigenes of the state and also empower them accordingly.”
The Chairman of the Council, Chucks Wabara, said the partnership to empower citizens of the LGA lies with the state agency, the traditional ruler of Ohambele, Eze Eze.
Wabara promised to do the needful that would put the Centre on the path of continuous growth.
