With now that you’re married, Obebes move to heal broken homes

It’s rare to see anyone boast of having a perfect marriage. Courting and dating are hard work in itself; the commitment in marriage amplifies problems tenfold, and can make even the happiest of couples red with fury.

In Nigeria of today, the marriage institution has become a big challenge and in a situation where the economy is not stable, there’s bound to be problems in the home. In fact, in some cases, women are the ones responsible for providing for the family and when the stress becomes too much for here, you expected to see crisis.

Passionate about making marriages work, Bola and Yinka Obebe, a married couple, have introduced a television talk show, Now That You’re Married. The TV show focuses on the phases of marriage and the challenges that rock it, even as it throws light to how it can be dealt with.


Hosted by Liz Osho, who is a noted journalist and publicist, the show is centered on marriage in capital cities. Liz discusses topical issues with 36 guests on perception of marriage as singles, and the reality that comes Now that You’re Married.
